Questions surround wind turbines

— — I read with interest the article relating to the continuing interest of putting wind turbines on East River Mountain. I would like to say I, for one, do not want to see it happen, ever. If you are able, attempt to find yourself an aerial view where one of these wind turbines have been installed and is in use. You will not believe what you see from the air and then imagine being on the ground with what you see from the sky.

I wonder if it would have any type of effect on the flow of wind currents on and over the mountain?  Would there be any type of climatic effect for the area that these turbines are installed on or around the immediate area? Also, would it alter the environment for wildlife in the immediate area? I wonder if it would have a significant long-term change in permanent employment for the people of the area? If my memory serves me right, I read or heard somewhere that after the turbines are installed there will be few permanent jobs available.

Just try, as I asked, to find a picture taken from above of one of these installed sites. Then tell me what your thoughts are about the installation of these monstrosities on the mountain.
