Thanks to veterans, troops

— — The movie “Love Survivor” is a great movie of men who died to keep the freedoms we have. Our very own Jeffrey S. Taylor from Midway, W.Va., was a SEAL aboard the helicopter that went down trying to save four of his brothers. Jeffrey was with SEAL Team Ten, and a hero that didn’t get reported by our news channels locally. At the end of the movie he is the first picture shown.

I would also like to thank our Mercer County JROTC for the Pledge of Allegiance at the opening start of the first night. They showed the utmost respect and did a great job.

I also would like to thank all our veterans and our current troops for their actions of keeping our freedoms and safeguarding our country.
