Bluefield Daily Telegraph
I worked the polls in the election on May 13, 2014, and I want to thank the people at Precinct 27, Memorial School in Bluefield.
They were so nice and courteous and thanked us for being there so they could come and vote. A lot of them told us to have a nice day and asked if we needed anything and if we had our lunch.
Once or twice someone had to wait for a machine but they didn’t complain because they had to wait.
Several people had gone to school there and told of their experiences there. One lady told us some things about the school when she was there in 1941.
It is a privilege we have to go out and vote and I wish more people would take advantage of it.
