Wade Center in need of donations

— — The Wade Center has overcome many obstacles over the past few years. Thanks to our great God and His provision through many of you, we have become licensed by the West Virginia DHHR, open and at capacity with children thriving under the watchful care of an outstanding and dedicated staff.

Friends, we are in a crisis situation. We are desperately trying to put things in place that will enable us to become more self-sustaining, but we are not quite there yet. Plans to become more self-sustaining include opening a thrift shop, hosting summer mission teams, offering Neighborhood Investment Program (NIP) tax credits, and recruiting 1,000 people to join our 1,000 Club, where they will commit to donate just $27 per month for this effort.

In order to keep our expenses at a minimum, we have drastically reduced our budget and have focused all programming on the success of the children of this community who need it the most. We have been blessed with grant monies that have enabled us to complete much needed security updates, add heating and cooling to the cafeteria, a new phone system and computer lab. We are truly more poised for success than we have ever been.

Time is critical and this is a plea for your continued help. Until we can become more self-sustaining, would you please consider a timely donation so that we can keep our doors open and continue to offer this vital and life-changing program to the precious children whom God has put in our care?

And if our God is for us, then who could ever stop us?

Please mail donations to:  The Wade Center, P.O. box 777, Bluefield, WV 24701

To God be the glory forever,

Jessica McDaniel
