Shott incorrect on climate change

— — Both Smokey Shott and the recent letter writer proclaiming Smokey’s expertise as an authority on climate change are to say the least — “way off base.”

Our writer is correct, climate changes. The basic question is not how much is attributable to human kind but rather “how will human kind survive climate change?”

We all recognize that change that can be attributed  to human kind can be tempered by human kind.

Unfortunately many with agendas that include personal rewards in terms of money and power will not be willing to make changes that deprive them of what they consider their own.

They will recruit media and finance efforts to discredit climate science that would develop objective data to identify and verify human activity as significant causes of recent climate change.
