Center in need of community support

— — Thank you so much to the many generous supporters of the Wade Center. We want you to know that we are committed to excellence in everything that the Wade Center touches, and work diligently and intentionally to uphold the recaptured confidence that this community has shown to us over the past year. You have supported us in our campaign drives and have encouraged us to continue on in this vital ministry.

The Wade Center exists on donations and fundraisers. Grants are awarded for specific projects, such as new computers, new white boards or an updated security system, which are wonderful and much needed for the success of this program, but they do not pay the monthly bills. Without community involvement and support, we will not be able to continue the life-changing work that happens within the walls of this old school building. God is at work here and the children are flourishing just as much in their souls as in their school work, and tummies are being filled.

We need to find 1,000 people who are willing to commit to a donation of just $27 per month in order to help us meet operating expenses for the year. Just $27 per month and you will be partnering with us to see 90-plus children helped with their homework assignments and fed a USDA approved meal and snack every day that they are here, as well as participate in choir, acting, fitness, computer, art, Bible and more.  They are mentored, loved on and encouraged and are being trained up in the way they should go.  Children are memorizing scripture and prayer and learning to apply it to their lives. They are learning to be respectful, successful and hardworking children of God.

We can’t do this without you. Please be a part of the success of this program. It is the best investment in the future of this community that you will ever make.

Jessica McDaniel
