If the senators from Monongalia and Marion counties are so worried that dismantling the toll booths in southern West Virginia would cost the state so much revenue, why not simply add more toll booths to the middle and northern parts of the state also?
This would bring a huge increase in revenue and be far more equal. This is what the gentleman suggested in the Bluefield paper a few days ago. I think it is a very good idea.
