How much can utility users endure?

I just read an article about the Public Service Commission ordering the electric utility companies operating in West Virginia to trim back vegetation along transmission lines, which would prevent some power outages.

The article goes on to state the utilities are to submit a plan for cost recovery, such as burn the customer some more.

How much can electrical users endure in this state?

Where are our representatives in the state Legislature? Can we not expect some help from them?

In an election year we hear about what the candidates can do and once elected the folks are forgotten.
