Downtown vandalism is deplorable

About the printing on the beautiful mural in Bluefield: I don’t know about the people of Bluefield but this is just about the worse possible image that could of happen to downtown Bluefield.

If any of us who live here in Bluefield can remember when getting to come to downtown, whether it be to shop or to go to the movies, was a treat and it was almost like going to New York City. Before The Blood Gang decided to put their name on the mural you could go get yourself a cup of coffee and sit on a bench and look at that beautiful picture, and remember the days that downtown Bluefield had so much to offer everyone.

I have sat there for hours just with memories and watching people from WV Manor come by in wheelchairs and sit and do the same thing.

It takes a very small gang to prove that they can spell. They don’t get the meaning of something to be cherished or a place of enjoyment for a lot of people. Wonder just how many it took to spell the two words that was spray painted.

My son and the 1/150th National Guard are leaving out in December and I have wondered why. Well, I guess I know now that it is to fight for freedom for these gang want-to-bes to be able to learn to spray paint.

The gang has never had to get a job or be responsible for a family nor fight for their freedom. They take that for granted. I know that their parents must be proud of them because they can spell.

Me? I think that they should wear a sign on their backs letting everyone know what good spellers they are.
