I am a 82-year-old Democrat and very disappointed in Rockefeller, Byrd and Rahall that they would turn their back on West Virginia the way they have. My family and myself have been Democrats all of our lives and now we are considering voting Republican.
We are not voting for Obama so that’s about 40 of my family alone will be voting Republican ticket this year.
I live alone and my sister and myself went to ask for heating assistance and they said we made too much, my oil bill alone last winter was $1,300 and that didn’t leave me much for bills, food, etc.
So I think people should think long and hard before voting for a president who will not change anything for people like myself. God bless you all.
