I would like to thank Mayor Adam Cannoy, Rev. Russell Hatfield, and Courtenie Hensley for their participation in the unveiling of the monument honoring of our former Mayor Anita Brown. Refreshments were made possible by: Connie Wood, Heather Jarboe, Jane Flick, Shirley Odham, The Little Store, and Bluefield Beverage. I would also like to thank Eddie Flick, Jesse Sipp, the Pocahontas Fire Department and Gary Neal of Bluefield Monument for their help.
