I was recently traveling through West Virginia on my way to Myrtle Beach. I am in my 60s, had two African grey parrots and two little dogs, and a very loaded pickup truck as we are moving to Myrtle Beach for health reasons.
I was trying to beat the snow that was predicted, for the weekend.
My truck broke down in the work area, just outside of Princeton, and a construction worker and a security officer helped me get hold of AAA, who sent a wrecker (Carl Stofer) I think and he took me to Po Boys, where Mike and his mechanic looked at the truck.
They couldn’t fix it until Monday.
They called the motels and the Budget Inn told them to bring me and my pets there. Sal and his little wife were very sweet to me.
To make a long story short, I was tired and scared and still had a long drive home and everyone made my stay very nice and I appreciate it very much.
I arrived home around 11 p.m. Monday and the truck ran just beautifully.
Thank you everyone.
