June Keyser Naggie

BLUEFIELD — June Keyser Naggie, age 81, of Bluefield, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2009 at the Westwood Center in Bluefield, Va.

Born on April 8, 1928 in Yukon, she was a daughter of the late George and Bessie Vest Keyser. She had been a resident of McDowell and Mercer counties for all of her life and was a retired postmaster at Capels. She attended the Church of Christ at Mapleview and was active with the DMA's. She also enjoyed volunteering at Bluefield Regional Medical Center.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Naggie; a son, Michael Naggie; and a grandson, Daniel Blair.

Survivors include her children, James Edward Naggie and wife Wilma of Bluefield, Linda Hoge and husband Bob of Bluefield, Kathy Blair and husband Greg of Williamson; grandchildren, Brian and Kathryn Naggie, Nathanial Hoge, and Britni Ellis; four great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Princeton with Minister Tony Reed officiating. Burial will follow. Those wishing to attend services are asked to meet at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum at the service time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mission Ministries, 409 Virginia Avenue, Welch, WV 24801.
