Three hospitalized following two-vehicle crash near Princeton

Three people were transported to the hospital this afternoon following a two-car collision near the U.S. Route 460/Interstate 77 interchange.

Deputy S.A. Sommers with the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department said the driver of a green Oldsmobile ran a red light on Route 460, striking a Nissan Pathfinder exiting I-77 and turning eastbound onto Route 460.

The driver and passenger in the Oldsmobile as well as the driver of the Pathfinder were all transported with minor to severe injuries, Sommers said.
