The driver of a Dodge Stratus was pulled from the wreckage of his vehicle early Thursday morning after rolling the vehicle several times in the eastbound lanes of U.S. Route 460 near the Courthouse Road intersection in Princeton.
Paramedics with the Princeton Rescue Squad and deputies with the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department got the driver out of the vehicle that rolled several times over a distance of more than 100 yards.
“He was upside-down, but still in his seat belt when we got him out,” Deputy E.P. Parks of the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department said.
The Green Valley-Glenwood Volunteer Fire Department also responded to the wreck site. The victim was transported to Bluefield Regional Medical Center.
