West Virginia State Police troopers have confirmed that a man found alive Wednesday morning along Route 161 in the Anawalt area is a Bluefield man who was reported missing Tuesday.
The man was taken to Bluefield Regional Medical Center, said Sgt. A.P. Christian of the West Virginia State Police Welch Detachment. A co-worker of Anthony Scott Testerman, 51, of Bluefield found the man approximately 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.
According to Sgt. D.W. Miller, detachment commander of the West Virginia State Police Princeton Detachment, Testerman apparently didn’t take his medicine, got disorientated and left his truck. Miller said the man — while hospitalized at BRMC — is OK.
Testerman was reported missing after he failed to return Monday evening from his job at the Eckman Preparation Plant.
