BLUEFIELD — On Friday, May 24, The Fantastic Shakers will perform at the Bluefield Auditorium on Stadium Drive. The concert, sponsored by the Bluefield Area Shag Society (BASS) is themed as a beach party night in conjunction with the Cole Chevy Mountain Festival.

The Shakers have performed more than 6,000 engagements from New York to Florida and all throughout the Southeast. South Carolina’s Grand Strand has become the band’s summer home and their hit single “Myrtle Beach Days,” catapulted them to the top of the Carolinas’ musical groups. The Shakers have won many awards including two-time Show Group of the Year, three-time Album of the Year and lead singer, Bo Schronce, has been named Male Vocalist of the Year on four different occasions. The band performed in the two Virginias in March of 2012

 General Admission tickets are $15 and available at New Graham Pharmacy, Bluefield Chamber of Commerce, Mercer County Convention and Visitors Bureau or at the door.
