NCCAA honors Rams

BLUEFIELD, Va. — Six different Bluefield College student-athletes earned National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) honors at the conclusion of their respective fall seasons, headlined by Missy Baines’ selection as a women’s soccer honorable mention All-American.

Baines also earned All Mid-East Region honors, leading to the honorable mention nod — the first for a BC women’s soccer player. The women’s soccer team was also represented in the academic honors, with Baines, Courtney Bell and Kayla Richardson each achieving Scholar-Athlete levels in the classroom.

Football’s Frank Brooks was named second team All-NCCAA defense while Matt Hollandsworth earned honorable mention All-NCCAA offense.

Volleyball’s Jasmine Morrow rounded out the honorees, being named first team All Mid-East Region.
