CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. —
Byron Carpenter scored 17 points and grabbed eight rebounds, but Bluefield College dropped an 85-57 decision at Campbellsville on Saturday afternoon.
Justin Ennis led the Tigers and everyone else with 26 points, including seven of Campbellsville’s 11 3s. Jordan Myers contributed 14 points and Addison Smith added 10.
Bluefield (6-9, 2-6) also received 13 points from Pierre Walters, while Kearston Marion added 11 points, including a trio of 3s, and also dished out three assists.
Campbellsville (10-6, 4-4) built a 39-25 lead at the break with a 24-9 run to end the half.
Bluefield dropped its fourth straight Mid-South Conference contest after starting its first season in the competitive NAIA circuit with a 2-0 mark.
The Rams will visit Rio Grande (Ohio) on Thursday.

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — The No. 10 Tigers used a 20-3 second half run to pull away from the Lady Rams in a Mid-South Conference contest.
Ashley White led Bluefield with 24 points and nine rebounds, while Teqa McNeal added 20 points. Janee Simmons continued her strong play in the lane, contributing 11 points and 12 boards.
Courtney Clifton led four Campbellsville (14-3, 7-1) players in double figures with 17 points. Mackenzie White added 16, Mrash Karumba tallied 14 and Hayley Hellyer tossed in 10.
Bluefield (12-5, 4-4), which dropped its second straight game, trailed just 42-37 at the break.
The Lady Rams will visit Rio Grande (Ohio) on Thursday.
