Peareth 14th in regional

JOLIET, ILL. — Concord University junior golfer Stephanie Peareth shot a nine-over par 81 and is in a tie for 14th place after one round at the NCAA East Regional Tournament at the Joliet Country Club.

Peareth birded the second hole of the day, while adding eight pars and eight bogeys and a double bogey. Peareth, who was one of four golfers to earn an individual bid into the NCAA East Regional Tournament, is currently ranked fourth among the non-team competitors.

The top three teams along with the top three individuals not with a team from each super regional will advance to the championships.
