Rams soccer signs Hairfield

BLUEFIELD, Va. — Eli Hairfield of Willis, Va., signed to join the Bluefield College men’s soccer program at the campus on Friday.

Hairfield, who is home schooled, has competed at the high school level with Dayspring Christian Academy. He earned first team All-Region and All-District in both 2011 and 2012, after first being named second team All-Region in 2010.

In 2012, Hairfield was named to the All-Tournament team at the National Association of Christian Athletics invitational tournament. He was also named Dayspring’s player of the year.

Hairfield has also competed at the club level with Roanoke Star, helping the team earn a Kroger Cup title.

Hairfield plans on majoring in exercise and sport science at Bluefield.
