CU, BSC baseball players honored

PRINCETON — Concord outfielders Bret Blevins and Andrew Seigel are both All-West Virginia Conference first team baseball honorees.

Blevins is batting .360 with 11 doubles, 27 RBIs and 27 stolen bases, while Seigel is hitting .387 with 67 hits, 52 runs scored and 26 stolen bases. Second team honors went to P Chris Baker, 1B Joey Miller, 3B Ryan Johnston and OF Devin Smith.

Princeton product OF Sean Williams earned second team honors for Bluefield State. He his .315 with 46 hits, 30 runs scored and 13 stolen bases, along with nine assists from center field.

Seton Hill swept the top awards. Nick Sell was chosen as player of the year, while Alex Haines was the circuit’s top pitcher. Coach of the year honors went to the Griffins’ Marc Marizzaldi.
