Wenger gets national honor

ATHENS — Concord University  senior shortstop Josh Wenger has been named the National Hitter of the Week  by the National Collegiate Baseball Writer’s Association. Wenger was named the WVIAC Player of the Week on Monday, hitting .692 (9-for-13) with three runs scored, 12 RBI and two home runs last week to lead Concord to a 2-1 record at the WVIAC-CIAA Challenge.
