Cheer on the Blues in regional tennis

BLUEFIELD —  The Bluefield State men’s tennis team will play Shaw in the NCAA Division II Atlantic Region championship match today at the Bluefield City Courts at 11 a.m. Shaw (14-4), which defeated Chowan 5-2 on Sunday, will meet the Big Blues, who are 17-3, and looking for their third straight trip to the Division II national tournament being played this year in Altamonte Springa, Fla., beginning on May 14. Admission is free, and a cookout/tailgate hospitality area, including food and fan towels, will be given away beginning at 10 a.m., according to the Bluefield State website.
