Concord picked third in Mtn. East women's soccer

BRIDGEPORT — The Concord University women’s soccer team was tabbed to finish third in the new Mountain East Conference in preseason voting by the league’s coaches, released on Monday.

The Lady Lions are led by sophomore scorer Kari Simon and junior goalkeeper Kaitlyn Wasylko.

West Virginia Wesleyan was picked to win the championship, gaining six of a possible eight first-place votes.
