Brewster tied for 31st at NCCAA golf championship

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. — Bluefield Col-lege sophomore Morgan Brewster fired a first-round 75 in the NCCAA Men’s Golf Championship on Monday, being contested at the Hombre Golf Club in Panama City Beach, Fla.

Brewster is tied for 31st, as he competes in the field of 95 competitors. Eighteen men’s teams are competing for the team title, while Brewster is one of six individuals who were selected to compete.

The Bluefield, Va., native had the lowest score of those six individuals on Monday.

Brewster tees off at 12:25 p.m. today for round two.
