Henry adds academic honor

BRISTOL, Tenn. — Maegan Henry has been named Capital One Academic All-District. A Biology major at King University in Bristol, Tenn., she holds a grade point average of 3.79. The native of Bluefield, Va., set four new school records this season in the hammer throw, shot put and weight throw.

The junior has won back-to-back Conference Carolinas Outdoor championships in both the hammer throw and shot put.

Henry is also a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) at King.
