Bluefield College hoops teams fall at Shawnee St.

PORTSMOUTH, Ohio — Shawnee State defeated Bluefield College 75-67, Saturday in Mid-South Conference play.

Alex Lubsey and Kearsten Marion each scored 16 for the Rams (13-11, 6-10), while Josh Nesbit and Andrew Wilson scored 12 apiece. Andrew Bendolph led Shawnee State (9-18, 3-13) with 16 points.


Shawnee State 104, Bluefield 59

Three Shawnee State players scored more than 20 points as they defeated Bluefield 104-59.

Janee Simmons led BC with 14, Asia Wheeler added 10 and Whitney Smith tossed in 11 for the Lady Rams.
