Akers starts again in Marshall's win

HUNTINGTON — McKenzie Akers helped the Marshall women’s basketball team to a 71-69 victory over Charlotte on Saturday afternoon in Huntington.

Akers, a freshman from Princeton, started at guard for the Herd and played 25 minutes, handing out two assists but going 0 for 6 from the floor.
