Season over for Rams baseball

MASON, Ohio — The Bluefield College Rams saw its baseball season come to an end on Friday with a 10-1 loss to Shorter University in the NCCAA Coillege World Series in Mason, Ohio.

Bluefield, which finished 2-2 in pool play, but didn’t qualify for the Saturday’s semifinals and finals, finished the year with a stellar record of 35-19.

Bluefield will lose four players to graduation, two of whom have hopes of continuing top professionally, including Zac Russell-Myers and Kahlin Villines.
