Conference Carolinas honors Henry

HIGH POINT, N.C. — Conference Carolinas has selected Bluefield, Va., native Maegan Henry as one of its Winter Scholar Athletes of the Year.

Henry earned the accolade in track and field, where she has already broken her own school record in the hammer throw and has set the conference’s top marks in the shot put and the hammer throw.

Henry, a biology major and secondary education minor, has a grade point average of 3.81.

“Maegan is the epitome of a student-athlete,” said head coach Amanda Williamson. “She is dedicated to both her academics and track career.”
