Huggins recovering

MORGANTOWN — West Virginia men’s basketball coach Bob Huggins is recovering following surgery to replace his right hip. The operation took place Monday morning, the athletics department said. The Huggins family said it went well and that the coach is “doing fine.” The 60-year-old Huggins will start his 33rd season as a head coach this fall. He has run the Mountaineers since the 2007-2008 season.
