Herd runs past Roadrunners

HUNTINGTON — Princeton’s McKenzie Akers scored three points, dished out two assists, and added a steal and even a block to help Marshall defeat Texas-San Antonio in the Conference USA finale 81-76 on Wednesday night.

Norrisha Victrum led the Herd (10-19, 3-13) with 17 points, while Chukwuka Ezeigbo added 12 points and 14 rebounds.

Marshall plays in the C-USA tourney March 11-15 in El Paso, Texas.
