Franklin scores 23, leads Cavaliers over Hokies

BLACKSBURG, Va. — Virginia Tech lost a 17-point first half lead and dropped a 67-60 decision to Virginia in ACC play on Thursday at Cassell Coliseum.

Ataira Franklin led Virginia (8-7, 1-1) with 23 points, including 11 of the Cavaliers’ final 13 points.

Uju Ugoka led Virginia Tech (10-5, 0-2) with 24 points.

Virginia Tech will host Miami on Sunday.
