Jury finds Mercer County woman not guilty of attempted murder

PRINCETON — A Mercer County jury has found a woman who ran down a Tractor Supply employee on February 2013 not guilty of attempted murder but guilty of malicious assault and other charges.

Dustie Beller, 32, of Arnett, faces two to 10 years in prison on the malicious assault charge. The chief assistant prosecuting attorney George Sitler said Beller remains free on bond until her sentencing in June.

The victim, Mackenzie Ansley, 21, of Ballard, said she was pleased with the verdict.

“I feel very good and I am very happy. Four out of five is good enough for me,” she said of the charges.
