Bomb suspect in custody

WATERTOWN, Mass. — The Boston Police Department has reported the second suspect in the Boston Marathon bombings is in custody.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was taken into police custody at approximately 8:45 p.m. according to the department.

A statement released on the Boston Police Department’s official Twitter account reading: “Suspect in custody. Officers sweeping the area. Stand by for further info.”
