Police searching for teen last seen leaving Mount View High School

WELCH — The public is being asked to watch for a teenage girl who left a local high school.

Alexandra Christian O’Donnell, 17, a resident at the Paul Miller Shelter in Northfork, was last seen approximately 2:30 p.m. Thursday when she left Mount View High School near Welch, said Trooper C.A. Dunn of the West Virginia State Police Welch detachment.

“She walked out of the school at least five to 10 minutes before school actually let out,” Dunn said. “She got into a car.”

The car was either gray or silver, Dunn said. O’Donnell got into the vehicle on her own and was not forced, he added.

O’Donnell has blond hair and blue eyes, and is approximately five feet, three inches tall and weighs between 110 to 125 pounds, Dunn said. She was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt hoodie, blue jeans, and brown Sperry shoes.

Anyone with information should contact the West Virginia State Police at 304-436-2101.
