ROANOKE, Va. — Eva Ann Steele

ROANOKE, Va. —  Eva Ann Steele, 71 of Roanoke, Va., previously from Princeton, W.Va., passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2013.

She was predeceased by her parents, Raymond and Jamie Weatherly; and 11 brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Steele was a "helper" to everyone.  For over 30 years she gave of her time and self to neighbors in the 12 houses in their block. She never refused a request for help.  She was a kind hearted , optimistic, Christian woman that was known for her "heart of gold". She also loved to paint, crochet, and can food from her own garden.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Charles Steele; twin sons, Terry (Donna), and Jerry (Debbie); granddaughters; Lauren and Kimberly Steele; many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 13, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the Valley Chapel with Interment to follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Thursday, Sept 12, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
