CARL RUSSO/Staff photo. Brady Barron, a Methuen High school junior and varsity hockey player is happy to see Janielle Martin-Monbleau, a nurse and athletic trainer who saved his life. Barron was injured during a game against Gloucester a couple weeks ago when a Gloucester player's skate sliced his wrist, severing his vein, artery and tendons. Janielle, an athletic trainer working the game who is also a critical care nurse at Lowell General, was on the ice immediately to slow the bleeding until EMTs could arrive. Doctors at Children's Hospital told Brady's father Janielle's quick action saved Brady's life. 1/28/2013.
