More arrests in Va. teen’s fatal stabbing

WOODBRIDGE, Va. — More people have been arrested in the stabbing death of a high school football player.

Prince William County Police said Wednesday that 19-year-old Airel Juanita Adams and 32-year-old Gibreal Jama Guled are being charged with abduction in the stabbing death Saturday of 18-year-old Kenny Diaz in a county park. On Thursday, officials said four 16-year-olds have also been arrested.

Multiple arrests have already been made in the case. A 19-year-old woman, Diandra Samuels of Woodbridge, was charged with murder and abduction in Diaz’s death. Five other Woodbridge residents — three women and two men ranging in age from 22 to 29 — were also arrested and face lesser charges in the killing. They were arraigned Wednesday.

Police previously said the encounters leading up Diaz’s death were drug-related.
