• Bertie Glema (Wiley) Ayers, 80 of Princeton, died Oct. 11, 2009 at her home. Roselawn Funeral Home, Princeton, was in charge of arrangements.

• Elsie Catherine Burton, 86, of Greasy Ridge Road, Princeton, formerly of 504 Southview Court, died late Monday evening, Oct. 5, 2009 at the GlenWood Retirement Village. Memorial Funeral Directory, Athens Road, Princeton, was in charge of arrangements.

• Edward “Johnny” Carden, 67, of Lake Shawnee, died Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2009 at his home. Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton was in charge of arrangements.

• Jack H. Dillon, 74, of 104 Carter Dr., Princeton, died Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009 at his home. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell was in charge of arrangements.

• Madie McGlothlin Dyer, 94 of the GlenWood Park Retirement Village died Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009, at her residence Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton was in charge of arrangements.

• Carson Spencer Hicks, 85, of Princeton, died Thursday, Oct. 8, 2009. Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton was in charge of arrangements.

• Madison Kay Higgins, infant daughter of Katie Leann Sammons and Donny Wayne Higgins both of Princeton died Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2009 at Princeton Community Hospital. Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton was in charge of arrangements.

• Christopher Allen Rowe, 22, of Princeton, died Monday evening, Oct. 5, 2009 after a short illness. Widener Funeral Home in Northfork was in charge of arrangements.

• David Eugene Smith, 64, of 508 Shop View Ave., Princeton, died Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009, at Princeton Community Hospital. Fredeking Funeral Home, Oakvale, was in charge of arrangements.

• Olaf Oren Vaught of Largo, Fla., formerly of Princeton, died Sept. 2, 2009, in the presence of friends and family in Largo. Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton was in charge of arrangements.

• Lula Mae Mullens Whitt, 80, of Princeton, formerly of Bud, died Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2009 in a Roanoke, Va. hospital, following a sudden illness. Tankerskley Funeral Home in Mullens was in charge of arrangements.

• Mary Ruth Bowling Wiggins, 91, of Advance, N.C., a former resident of Georgian Manor in Princeton, died Sunday, Oct. 4, 2009, at the Bermuda Commons Nursing Home in Advance, N.C. Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton was in charge of arrangements.

• Louise Croy Wiley, 92, of Green Valley died Monday, Oct. 5, 2009, at the residence of her daughter in Greensboro, N.C Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton was in charge of arrangements.

• Kalop Morgan Lee Smith-Willis, infant son of Morgan Willis and Brittany Smith died Monday Oct. 5, 2009 in a Bluefield hospital. Mercer Funeral Home, Bluefield, was in charge of arrangements.
