• Larry E. Bolen Sr., 70, of 304 Cardinal Ave., Princeton, died Wednesday, June 10, 2009, at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley. Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton was in charge of arrangements.
• Edythe Irene Johnston, 101, of Princeton, died Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at the Maples in Bluefield. Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton was in charge of arrangements.
• Pasqualine E. “Esther” McAfee, 88, of Hines Street, Princeton, died peacefully Friday afternoon, June 12, 2009 at Princeton Community Hospital with her family by her side. Memorial Funeral Directory, Athens Road, Prince-ton, was in charge of arrangements.
• Betty J. Smith, 81, of GlenWood Park Retirement Village Princeton, formerly of Bramwell, died Wednesday June 10, 2009 at Glenwood Park Retirement Village. Mercer Funeral Home, Bluefield, was in charge of arrangements.
• Ronald E. Whitt, 62, died June 12, 2009 after a long battle with lung cancer. Fredeking Funeral Service in Oakvale was in charge of arrangements.
