Deaths



• Ricky Dean Adkins, 55, of Princeton, died Thursday, May 28, 2009 at Princeton Community Hospital. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell was in charge of arrangements.

• Lee Edward Blankenship, 78, of Hatcher Hollow died Sunday May 31, 2009 at the home of his niece in Princeton. Memorial Funeral Directory, Athens Road, Princeton, was in charge of arrangements.

• James E. “Buddy” Caldwell Sr., 78, of 283 Boggs St., Princeton, formerly of Switchback, died Sunday night, May 31, 2009, at his residence after a long illness. Widener Funeral Home, Northfork, was in charge of arrangements.

• Charles Thomas Crouch, 87, of 359 Red Sky Road in Princeton, formerly of Crumpler, died Monday, June 1, 2009 at Princeton Community Hospital. Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton was in charge of arrangements.

• Joe J. Farmer, 78, of Princeton, died Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at Princeton Community Hospital in Princeton. Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton wasin charge of arrangements.

• John M. “Sonny” Goodwin III, 67, of 709 Partridge Drive, Quail Valley in Princeton died Sunday, May 31, 2009, at Princeton Community Hospital. Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton was in charge of arrangements.

• Billie K. Hazelwood, 7, of Elgood died Friday, May 29, 2009 at Princeton Community Hospital. Fredeking Funeral Service in Oakvale was in charge of arrangements.

• Lucille Kathleen Kelley, 88 of City View Heights, Princeton, died Saturday, May 30, 2009 at the home of her daughter, after a short illness. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell was in charge of arrangements.

• Ada Walker Shrewsbury Lovell, four days shy of her 103rd birthday, died Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at Sandy’s Home Sweet Home in Lashmeet following a brief illness. Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton was in charge of arrangements.

• Helen Marie Magyar Puckett, 84, of Garden Oaks, Princeton, formerly of Gary, died early Tuesday morning, May 26, 2009 at her residence. Memorial Funeral Directory, Athens Road, Princeton, was in charge of arrangements.
